RELIABILITY

The goal of a unified technical policy of JSC Lenenergo approved in 2013 is to ensure increase of reliability and efficiency of the power grid complex while maintaining an adequate level of industrial and environmental safety on the basis of innovative development principles.

EFFICIENCY

In 2013 the Board of Directors of JSC Lenenergo approved the program of energy saving and energy efficiency for 2013–2018 among the tasks of which are introduction of the power management system, modernization and building of a new model of («smart») grid on the basis of innovative technologies and equipment, introduction of the systems of technological management and grid operation.

AVAILABILITY

The number of executed contracts on technological connection in 2013 was up by 6% and amounted to 7,378 units. The number of potential customers applying for connection to the grids of JSC Lenenergo also increased. In its cooperation with customers the Company is committed to the principles of availability and responsiveness of the correspondence and interactive services, qualified service, and transparency of business processes of service.

RELIABILITY

The Committee on reliability is established under the Board of Directors of JSC Lenenergo which aims at ensuring comprehensive reliability of network equipment and facilities. The Committee carries out expert examination of investment programs, analysis of repair plans performance, assesment of the adequacy of measures to eliminate violations and activities of technical services of the Company

EFFICIENCY

Issues of increasing the efficiency of operating activities are within the competence of the most of management and control bodies of JSC Lenenergo. Target values of key performance indicators (KPI) for the Director General and top-managers are approve in the Company on the annual basis

AVAILABILITY

The Committee on technological connection to electric networks under the Board of Directors of JSC Lenenergo works to ensure non-discriminatory access to the services of technological connection to electric networks of the Company. The Committee develops recommendations for the Board of Directors on improvement of the internal standards in the field of technological connection and evaluates the effectiveness of the Company’s activity in this area

Ensuring a high level of technological and economic reliability is an essential factor in the growth of investment appeal of JSC Lenenergo. The Company strives to implement comprehensive consideration of the interests of shareholders in decision making and ensure a guaranteed return on invested capital

EFFICIENCY

Increase of performance efficiency contributes to improved financial results and, consequently, increases the flow of dividend payments. The Company annually pays dividends on its preferred shares. In 2013 for the first time since 2005 dividends were paid on ordinary shares
